About Me
Hi there! I'm Laura, a Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSW. I’ve spent over a decade in the mental health field, and I bring both depth and compassion to my work as a trauma-informed therapist. I was raised in Arizona and feel deeply connected to the community I serve.
My clinical experience includes crisis response and more than five years in community mental health, where I’ve supported individuals navigating complex and chronic trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, anxiety and depression. I’m especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients, and I strive to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and respectful of each person’s lived experience.

I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities to support healing, including EMDR, Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), for which I’m certified. My approach is rooted in Empowerment Theory and guided by a Person-Centered lens. I also integrate mindfulness practices and somatic techniques to help clients reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and build emotional resilience.

In therapy, I focus on empowerment, connection, and growth. I aim to offer a nonjudgmental space where people feel seen, supported, and able to move toward a more fulfilling life. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
